Horror movies about dolls, new and not very
Toys, and in particular dolls, were created forthat they were played. Few of the girls did not play in their mother's daughters, presenting themselves in the role of a caring mother, and a doll as a child. It would seem that such a terrible thing can carry in itself some piece of plastic or other material from which the toy is made? However, especially talented writers, screenwriters and representatives of the film industry found a different application for these cute little pugpies, and the world saw horror films about dolls.
One of the first such horror films was the 1936 filmthe Devil's Doll. This black and white tape tells of a man named Paul Lavon, who, after serving 17 years in prison on false charges, escapes from her along with his cellmate, the mad scientist Marcel. The fugitives are hiding in the house of Marcel, who, as it turned out, carried out experiments to reduce people, animals and other living things to puppet sizes. However, soon Marseille dies, and Lavon decides to continue his work and with the help of these managed "puppets" to take revenge on everyone, because of whom he spent so many years behind bars.
The most famous horror films about dolls are,of course, "Chucky" (in the domestic box office he is also known as "Children's Games"), "The Bride of Chuckies" and "Chucky's Progeny". These three films are interrelated. In the first tape tells about how in the usual doll named Chucky a bloodthirsty spirit of a killer maniac has settled. In his new form, he continues to kill, but he does not leave the desire to move into the human body. In the next part of this trilogy, Chuckie kills the girl - her mistress - and with the help of a certain ritual, relocates her soul to a doll named Tiffany. Now she is Chuckie's lover, his bride. In the third part we already havedealing with the "fruit of love" Tiffany and Chucky - a doll Glen. At first it seems that Glen is not like his parents, but this is only an appearance.
If you want to see a good horror film, connected with the dolls, then pay attention to the tape "Dead silence". Here, the old suspect puppet becomes the main suspect in the murder. True, only one person suspects her - the husband of the murdered woman, Jamie. And for the police, the main culprit is Jamie himself, and now the man has to prove his innocence. Those who want to see the relatively newhorror films about dolls and not only, you can recommend the following: "Demonic Toys: Personal Demons" in 2010, the Swiss film "Shepherd's Doll", also in 2010, "Shva" 2012. The last film tells of a clown who, once dead by the hands of adolescents, returns to them, years later, to take revenge. Of the older "clown" horror films - the film "It" in 1990, shot on the same name by Stephen King.
Fans of Asian horror stories are advised toviewing such horror films about dolls as "Kukolnik" (Korea, 2004) and "The House of the Cursed Doll" (Japan, 2004). In both plots antiques dolls become the main villains. And knowing how the Asians, especially the Japanese, know how to "wrap" the plot and fuel the situation, it's safe to say: turn off the light, sit back and prepare to tremble with fear. Although if you have weak nerves, then horror movies about dolls (and not only about them) you better not watch.
