Still, the bridges are incredibly beautiful. The Frunzensky Bridge, which has been under construction since November 2015, is of exceptional importance for the region. It will solve the most important task of reducing transport tensions, give a new impetus to the development of the city and the southern regions of the region, and will become a real decoration of Samara. The third stage of the advancement of the span is already completed, and the banks of the Samara River have become closer to each other. On Tuesday, the governor of the Samara region, Nikolai Merkushkin, visited the construction site of the Frunzensky bridge crossing, where he familiarized himself with the work progress. And they are impressive: the complex technical structure acquired the features of a bridge, and yesterday, when I looked at its pillars and sections, I thought thatwhen everything is ready and the traffic will be open, on the very first day I will drive it ten times and still walk along the pedestrian zone !!!

How is the construction of a bridge across the Samara. 155 people and 21 units of equipment are working around the clock. Machines and mechanisms there is something straight! :) The central part of the span is approaching from the left bank with four hydraulic jacks. In July, the previously displaced two sections were mounted from the third, and the day before this giant assembled structure with a length of 220.5 meters and a weight of 2,976 tons was moved to the right bank by 28.5 meters. The speed of movement is 2 meters per hour. The next stage of the advancement will be carried out at the end of August.
The process requires the highest precision, which is achieved by means of geodetic control of the planning-altitude position from several points installed on the moving part. According to the project, the bridge span will consist of three parts. The central segment with a total length of 595.5 m will, at the end of the advancement, occupy its position between the channel supports of the right and left banks. At the same time, work is underway on the road junction with access to Shosseynaya Street.

The right bank road interchange implies trips to several Samara streets, I will definitely try to drive through each :) In addition, the prospect of building a road along the coast of Samara, connecting bridges along Glavnaya Street, Frunzensky and Yuzhny, was discussed. This is also extremely interesting and I would like the project to be realized.

15. There is also a plan for expanding the Kryazhskoye highway from the interchange on Shosseynaya street to its transition to the Uralskaya, Utyovskaya and Novokuybyshevskoe streets. According to the same project, my favorite Cossack crossing, from which last year I received a penalty for speeding, can significantly change - now there is a narrow road with a kind of relief, and a speed limit of 40 km / h has been established.

In general, on the topic of bridges in Samara. The bridge along Glavnaya Street was built in 1954, its condition has long required urgent repairs, which was done in six months in 2012.Since its construction in 1974, the south bridge has never had a major overhaul - it is being built now. Kirovsky bridge, the construction of which began in 2007, became protracted, funding was frozen, but after 2012, the governor Nikolas Merkushkin decided to speed up the delivery of the bridge: on October 10, 2014, traffic on the Kirovsky bridge was opened. Frunzensky will soon be built, which had never dreamed of before.
